Once again... Red Fish Blue Fish - Victoria, BC

We took a very early flight out on Friday morning, and after arriving at our hotel around 10am, and taking a quick nap (thank goodness they had a room ready for us), we headed over to Red Fish Blue Fish for some deep fried goodness.

I tried to branch out, but that Qualicum Bay scallop tacone I had last May was too good to pass up. So it was one of those ($7), along with the two piece halibut for us to share ($16.5 including fries).

Scallop Tacone

Halibut

Once again neither of our orders disappointed. A thin layer of crispy batter around thick, fresh chunks of halibut with lots of malt vinegar, along with the slightly spicy, yet sweet tacone. All while standing in the inner harbour watching the float planes take off. Our holiday had officially started.
